Teaching mindfulness skills to help you navigate lifes difficulties

more skilful way

Helping you cultivate skills to flourish in life and be here in better relationship to yourself, others and the world around you.

Hello I'm Sarah Murray, the practice of Mindfulness has been the cornerstone upon which I rebuilt my life after a time of deep personal suffering. I struggled to complete even the simplest everyday tasks and partake in life fully and so began an introduction to mindfulness course which was truly lifechanging for me.

After experiencing such a profound impact and personally reaping many of the benefits mindfulness has to offer, I went on to train as a mindfulness teacher for children and then adults.

My wish is to share this evidence based practice in order to help others help themselves.

I especially love bringing mindfulness to children, helping them understand themselves

and learn to calm and regulate their emotions.

I am passionate about teaching you skills to help you understand yourself, your needs and how you can best meet those needs especially in times of difficulty.

These are foundational skills for life lending to a greater sense of overall wellbeing.

Sarah was fantastic, so empathetic to everyone in the group and helped us understand trust and openness, she was super. MBSR has helped me mentally accept what I cannot change and to live in the here and now.

Over the last few years I have had a number of introductions to mindfulness. Calming down, getting into the zone, getting "Zen" are some of the things I was led to beleive I was striving toward with mindfulness.

Sarah helped me understand that what mindfulness is about is educating me on noticing my feelings. Noticing when I am angry and what that feels like and what physical reactions my body has when angry, noticing when I am nervous and what are those physical effects, noticing if I am elated and what that physically feels like.

This was a revelation for me. Once I notice my feelings, then I can decide how I am going to react to these feelings.

I found the MBSR course extremely useful for ccping with stress and anxiety. The teachings were really insightful and interesting and Sarah was an excellent teacher, I greatly enjoyed doing the course.
